About Me

Brittany Haga
Hello all! This is the part of the blog where you're supposed to write cute little blurbs about your life and why you're doing this. I'm not so great at that so here are the facts: 1. I was born in raised in Central Nebraska 2. In 2008, I graduated from Kearney High School 3. That Fall I began working on my bachelor's degree in International Studies at American University in Washington, DC 4. I am now a junior and I will be spending the Spring semester in Cape Town 5. I leave behind a mother who loves me, a family who talks about me (and is often perplexed by my life choices), numerous friends who keep me going, too many possessions, and an overweight black lab named Freckles who doesn't like that I take my blanket with me. I like wearing flowers in my hair, red lip stain, dark painted fingernails, True Blood, Harry Potter, Barack Obama and Marilyn Monroe. I dislike hatred, intolerance, violence, diet Pepsi, humidity, and little yippy dogs. The only other time I have been away from the United States is when I spent two weeks in Kenya in 2010.
